Visit Brookings is seeking a creative professional with an eye for detail to join our team as our Marketing Coordinator. This is a full-time position, focused on promoting Brookings to visitors and conveying the Visit Brookings brand to internal and external audiences.  Duties include managing social media and website content, assisting in the development of the annual Brookings Visitor Guide, analyzing data, preparing monthly progress reports, developing marketing messages and content, and taking the lead on a variety of marketing initiatives identified in the Visit Brookings Plan of Work.

Successful applicant must have excellent written and oral communication skills, demonstrated knowledge of social media platforms, excellent customer service skills, ability to work individually as well as with a team and adapt quickly to a fast-paced and changing environment. A degree in marketing, public relations, or hospitality with 1 to 3 years industry-related experience preferred.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, WordPress, Canva, Issuu, and Mail Chimp a plus.
