Salary Range CG HH: $17.48/hour – $22.28/hour depending upon qualifications, plus benefits

12 months, 100% time Monday – Friday 8:00AM – 5:00PM

Job Responsibilities: Under direction of the Student Health Clinic Laboratory Supervisor, this position will manage and supervise the Student Health Clinic COVID-19 Testing Site. This includes performing laboratory patient testing and working as a liaison between the testing site and Student Health Clinic Laboratory. This position will advise administrative and clinical leadership regarding laboratory services, regulations, and improvements.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Knowledge of: 

Principles and practices of medical technology
Safe laboratory policies and procedures
Electronic Health Record experience and moderate computer skills

Skill & Ability to:   

Present data with clarity and accuracy
Understand and interpret complex directions
Provide direction to other clinical staff in relation to lab procedures
Establish and maintain effective working relationship with clients and clinical staff
Work effectively with other healthcare team members

Preferred License/Certification: National certification as a Medical Technologist/ASCP or Medical Laboratory Scientist/NCA. Licensed in the state of South Dakota as a Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist.
