Job Responsibilities: Direct the operation of property management programs related to surplus and capital equipment inventory control.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
South Dakota State surplus statutes
Acquisition, capitalization and accounting of fixed assets
Grants and sponsorship of capital equipment
Basic spreadsheet usage and design
Procurement card regulations
Government procurement protocols and guidelines
Skill & Ability to:
Accurately interpret and apply appropriate policies, rules and regulations
Communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with departmental or agency officials and the public
Exercise independent judgment in evaluating situations and making decisions
Interpret objectives and develop practical applications
Conduct research, compile and analyze data
Use computers and applicable software
Required License: Valid Driver’s License
Comments: Position requires effective time management and organizational skills along with self-discipline and ability to work independently. SDSU is a tobacco free environment.
