Salary Range CG CH: $12.18 – $14.75/hour
12 months, 100% time
Monday – Friday 7:00AM – 4:00PM
SDSU, ranked #2 Best Employer in the State of South Dakota by Forbes, is seeking a motivated and dependable individual to join our team as Facility Worker for our Facility and Services department.
Job Responsibilities: In this position you will provide building services to SDSU facilities so that people can learn and work in a clean and safe environment, including hard surface floor maintenance, carpet and restroom care, building security and various maintenance tasks.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of: Computer software applications and systems.
Skill and Ability to: Read and write; follow oral and written instructions; stand for extended periods of time; bend, stretch, climb ladders, twist and walk; and lift up to 50 pounds.
Required License: Valid Driver’s License
Comments: Normal working hours for this position are 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. This position is responsible for routine cleaning duties as well as unplanned emergency services and event coverage outside of normal working hours. Prior professional cleaning background is preferred. Applicants should detail cleaning experience, including specific duties performed and equipment used on the application.
